Get ready for the movie as Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif join forces in the much-anticipated film, Tiger 3. The excitement is building, with 5.86 lakh tickets already snapped up, raking in a staggering Rs 15.58 crores across various formats and languages, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
However, the festive release has sparked some skepticism about its opening day performance, given the tradition of fewer people heading out for a film on Diwali evening. Despite this, Bollywood Hungama predicts a roaring start with an opening collection estimated at Rs 35 crores.
Recent reports from Pinkvilla reveal that Tiger 3 has managed to sell almost 2,00,000 tickets in major national cinema chains such as PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.

With just a day left before its release, the film has slightly fewer pre-sales, specifically 1.9 lakh tickets in these chains. In comparison, other blockbusters like Jawan, Pathaan, Adipurush, and Gadar 2 boast higher pre-sale figures, ranging from 2.74 lakh to an impressive 5.57 lakh tickets.
The premium IMAX version and the 4DX version of Tiger 3 are not lagging behind, having already raked in over Rs 60 lakh and Rs 15 lakh in advance bookings, respectively. Even a solitary ICE cinema in New Delhi has contributed a noteworthy Rs 72,000 in revenue.
Tiger 3 is the latest addition to the espionage universe crafted by producer Aditya Chopra. Beginning with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012 and Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017, the universe expanded to include War in 2019 with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, and the recent hit Pathaan featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 also stars Emraan Hashmi in a crucial role.
Director Maneesh Sharma shed light on Salman Khan's entry in the film, stating, "A group of talented and enthusiastic minds—some of our best action, stunts, grips, and effects experts—came together to craft a 10-minute block that does justice to Tiger's entry.
