Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor's latest film, Animal,made its big debut on December 1st, and it's been generating quite a buzz with some solid advance bookings. Despite the mixed-to-poor reviews due to its intense violence and intentionally provocative content, the film managed to rake in an impressive Rs 116 crores worldwide on its opening day.
The Hindi nett stands at Rs 54 crores, while the South Indian languages nett is around Rs 9 crores.
Interestingly, the film has also made a mark in the international market, collecting $2.1 million. It's anticipated to break even this weekend, which could mean a significant win for the USA buyers, turning it into a profitable venture.
